OPERATION AGAINST COUNTERFEITING IN MARTINAFRANCA (TA)

Martinafranca (TA) – Following a long and complicated survey which has developed through several firms located in Italy, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Spain, Greece and Cyprus, Guardia di Finanza seized over 41.000 parts of counterfeited men’s wear for a value of approximately 4.000.000 Euros and gathered evidence of completed sales for more than 7.000.000 Euros. Imovilli Consulting carried out preliminary enquiry and ascertained a firm running in Martinafranca, near Taranto, was selling counterfeited men’s dresses showing customers a fake license contract. Beside counterfeiting crime, GdF discovered involved firms were employing irregularly over 40 people.
